What we collect
Dijotech LLC collects information needed to provide domains, hosting, customer accounts, websites, and email. This can include your name, organization, email, phone number, postal and billing address, domain-registration details, selected package, website content, mailbox names, support messages, consent, price, and service status. We receive PayPal order, subscription, and transaction identifiers, but not your card number. Our systems also keep limited security and service logs such as IP address, time, requested page, sign-in result, and error information.
Why we use it
We use this information to check domain availability, create and support your order and account, register and manage domains, publish the website content you choose, operate mailboxes, prevent duplicate charges and registrations, secure and back up services, investigate fraud or abuse, send required notices, keep accounting records, and comply with registrar, registry, ICANN, tax, and legal requirements.
Who receives it
We send registration data to Global Domain Group LLC, Dynadot Inc., the relevant registry operator, ICANN-related providers, and other providers needed to register and maintain the domain. PayPal receives information needed to process payment and subscriptions. Cloudflare helps provide DNS, deliver websites, and protect web traffic. Infrastructure and email providers process information needed to operate hosting and mail. These providers have their own terms and legal obligations. Registration privacy may limit public directory display, but it does not prevent authorized registration providers or legally authorized parties from receiving required data.
How we protect it
Registrant details are encrypted in the private order system. Passwords are stored using one-way password protection, credentials and encryption keys are kept outside the public website, and administrative access is restricted. Customer website content is stored separately from executable server code. Payment approval occurs on PayPal. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
How long we keep it
We keep order, consent, registration, security, and accounting records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet registrar, ICANN, tax, and legal requirements. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably possible. Registrar and registry providers may have separate mandatory retention periods.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to review or correct information held by Dijotech, or request deletion where retention is not required. Some registration data cannot be deleted while the domain is active or while law and industry rules require it. To make a request or ask a privacy question, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Cookies
The checkout and customer account use short-lived, secure cookies to protect forms and keep your browser connected to its own order or account. We do not sell personal information or use these services for cross-site behavioral advertising.
Changes
We may update this notice when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the current version.
