Hosting service terms
Effective October 4, 2026
1. Service
Dijotech LLC provides the website hosting, website builder, DNS management, monitoring, backups, support, and email features listed for the package you purchase. Package limits shown at checkout are part of these terms. Domain registration is also subject to the separate domain registration terms.
1A. Existing domains and DNS
Before payment, Dijotech performs a limited public-DNS check to select a safe connection method. The check cannot discover every possible DNS record and is not a complete DNS export. Dijotech will not automatically replace the nameservers of a domain with detected website, mail, or verification records. When you keep your current DNS provider, you are responsible for adding the exact records shown in the customer portal without deleting unrelated records. When you choose Dijotech-managed DNS for a domain confirmed as unused, you are responsible for changing the nameservers shown in the portal.
If existing mail routing is detected, checkout requires you to choose whether to keep that provider or move mail to Dijotech. Dijotech does not replace existing MX records without that recorded choice. Setup instructions remain available in the portal and are checked automatically. If required customer DNS changes are not completed within 14 days, Dijotech may suspend the related recurring subscription so an unfinished setup does not continue renewing indefinitely.
2. Billing and renewal
The checkout identifies the amount, monthly or yearly billing period, and renewal arrangement before payment. Recurring payments are processed by PayPal under the authorization you approve there. Domains are not included in a hosting package and are a separate line item. Connecting an externally registered domain has no domain charge. For a domain managed through Dijotech, renewal reminders begin 45 days before expiration; the renewal is charged 30 days before expiration and Dijotech does not renew at the registrar until that payment succeeds. Prices may change for a future renewal after advance notice. Taxes, premium domains, special extensions, custom work, and services outside the package may cost extra when disclosed before purchase.
3. Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, protect account and mailbox passwords, keep recovery contact information current, and use the service lawfully. You are responsible for the words, images, business claims, and other material you publish.
4. Website builder and uploads
The standard plans use Dijotech's controlled website builder. They do not include customer-installed plugins, server scripts, executable uploads, direct server access, or arbitrary server configuration. We may reject files or content that could harm the platform, other customers, or the public.
5. Email
Mailbox counts and storage are limited by the selected package. Each mailbox has a 300-message daily outgoing allowance in addition to provider anti-abuse limits. Catch-all mailboxes are not offered. Bulk unsolicited email, so-called cold email, warmup services, account farming, purchased lists, credential sharing, malicious attachments, and attempts to evade sending limits are prohibited. We may temporarily restrict a mailbox to protect customers and mail reputation while investigating suspected compromise or abuse.
6. Availability, maintenance, and backups
We monitor the service and maintain website backups as described by the package, but no online service or backup can be guaranteed uninterrupted or error-free. Basic does not include managed mailbox backup. A Basic customer is responsible for backing up mailbox contents unless Secure Mail Backup is purchased. Business includes 30-day Secure Mail Backup for included and additional Business mailboxes. Customers should retain copies of important business records and original media. Maintenance, Internet routing, registries, payment providers, and third-party outages can temporarily affect service.
7. Failed payment and cancellation
We may suspend service after a failed payment and reasonable notice. Cancellation stops future hosting renewal but does not automatically transfer domain ownership to Dijotech. The customer may renew a domain separately or request transfer, subject to payment, expiration, and registry transfer restrictions. We retain canceled website and mailbox data only for the disclosed recovery period and may delete it afterward.
8. Security and abuse
We may block, quarantine, suspend, or remove content or access when reasonably necessary to address malware, phishing, spam, attacks, illegal material, compromised credentials, excessive resource use, or a valid legal demand. The acceptable use policy provides additional details.
9. Support and changes
Support is available at [email protected]. Material changes to the service or these terms will be communicated as required. Continued use after the effective date of an announced change constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
10. Limits
To the extent permitted by law, Dijotech is not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses caused by third-party services, Internet outages, customer content, compromised customer credentials, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights or obligations that cannot legally be limited.
